Here is the assembly after being trimmed down in a mitre box with an Xacto saw. Glue inside the numberboard housing, taking care to keep it centered. It can be drilled through later on for bulb mounting. Alternatively, a block of styrene can be glued inside the housing, and drilled through, for bulb mounting.
