Trail to a Wukoki Morning

Wupatki National Monument : Wukoki Ruins

Shooting the Wukoki Ruins in the Wupatki National Monument is hard to do if you stay on the trail as strongly requested. THis is the best shot I could muster. It is about 20-30 minutes before sunrise with the pre-dawn sky in the east the only light source. It is a very warm light source and helps bring out strong saturated colors.

This is very nice, Steven - and you're right - shooting Wukoki is tough. I particularly like the colors here, rich and subtle - you shot at a great time of the morning.
