M82 in H-alpha with AO unit doing the guiding.

Laguna Beach, CA

This was taken with a QSI532WSG using an SX-AO unit and Lodestar guide cam on the integrated guide port. This is 12 exposure of 20 minutes each, even though the Losmandy G-11 was poorly polar aligned the AO unit managed to keep the guiding going during the long exposures. The seeing was poor and it was windy, a very demanding test in any circumstance. Moon was near full as well.
