Actually, if you offer them peanuts in the shell then you have a friend for life. They are wee piggies though ...they'll stay with the feeder until it is empty. I usually put their feeder away from the others as they can (and will) intimidate the smaller birds. It's nice to see that their numbers are up once again, since the problem with WNV a few years ago.
