The garden has been designed to sustain hummingbirds from early spring (Pulmonaria) to autumn (Toad lilies). This year feeders were hung when we were there (infrequently). However; it was apparent that there were a pair that stayed around until the end of August. During the month of September there have been several hummingbirds passing through ... depending on the weather, some stay overnight and others stay a few nights.
