Stevie (top) and Ben (bottom) have been my
companions and teachers over the last 10 years.
As evidenced by these photos, they could
not have more different in their personalities.

Stevie: intelligent, funny, willful, stubborn, defiant, hesitant, nervous, vigilant, persistant and hyper
Ben: loyal, hungry, silly, mellow, confident, protective, lazy, happy, eager to please

This is the first time I've photographed them under the studio lights.
They were not too cooperative. Stevie didn't want to hold still and Ben of course would
hold still, but he wouldn't open his eyes.

I really wanted to photograph them against the black backdrop but
it just wasn't meant to be today.
