080104.jpg

totally random

As luck would have it, all the items I needed could
be found today in one conveniently located and quite
patriotic place. What are the odds.

Okay, so I'm lying -- I didn't need any of
this stuff. I just needed gas. $2.35 for a regular unleaded gallon.
I hear I shouldn't complain about our prices because
in Europe it is so much higher. Is that right?

Petrol is incredibly expensive here in the UK. I don't know whether to laugh or get angry at all my American friends complaining about a gallon of petrol costing $1.90 *or even $2.35). Here we pay 82p per litre ($5.68/US gallon) - and they're talking about putting it up even higher! 75% of the price is tax... I bet you'd revolt if you had to suffer like we do. All that besides, this is a nice picture... although I'm not too sure I like the sound of Propane soda ice!

Gas is about $1.89 here. So yours is REALLY high priced.
Ummm, did ya know your camera is crooked??? LOL J/K
Kewl sign though

I like the ingenuity of the person who put the excalmation point upside down to make a dotted i... does paying more for gas cause you to drive less??? It sure doesn't deter me. I wonder when I'd start really not driving due to price...hmmm
Photo is perfect; what Russ said.

We are under $1.80, so come for a visit....of course, if you drive it will be a bit expensive getting here!

And you should see the price of soda in Europe! A can of diet Pepsi will run ya 75-80 drachnars. LOL

Did you play the lotto? If you win the 10 million, you can spring for a fill up for everybody!

I like the rendering on this photo. Gives a kind of a nostalgic, small town feel. That creates an interesting tension in the composition, because lotto, atm's, and phone cards are such modern things.

They left out "Crawlers and worms"...lol
And the price of gasoline varies from town to town here. Averaging $1.90

Yikes! I'll bet it's the state taxes. We are $1.85. Our taxes are bad, but I'll bet yours (state and local?) are REALLY terrible.

Gas has dropped to around $1.80 here. Propane, a plastic soda bottle, and ice - if they only had some aluminum foil, you could make a nice smoke bomb. :)
