duck, duck, goose

Not too much light early this morning so I couldn't get the shutter speed I would
have wanted on this swan. He or she was very busy protecting
the babies from the ducks and geese in the area. I was eager to get off a good shot.
Hopefully before the babies grow up I will be able to get some nice sunlit shots and some good action.

Nice capture. I luv the way the flight path is along the lilly pads. It really brings out the reflection in the front.

Shutter speed seems fine to me! Enough blur to show the motion where it counts, whilst not blurring the areas that you want sharp.

Love it! Look how she's stretching her neck out for take off! I like the shutter speed as it is. The entire image is sharp except for the wings. The motion blur on the wings is completely appropriate.

chicks an' ducks an' geese better scurry, when you take him out in the Surry . . .well, maybe not . . but this is cool! gives the feel of "GO speed racer!!"
