Use to be what I saw outside my office window every day at Yates Construction...funny how we fail to recognize the beauty and fragility of simple everyday surroundings. Days after the storm the only substantial thing that we could find of the Biloxi Towne Green was the historical plaque. We respectfully placed it somewhere safe for the Biloxi Historical Society so it would not become a looter's trophy. After Katrina my new favorite saying is, "the best things in life are not things"...
