Great perspective on this and I like how the lines lead right into the image.
Ronald Bijtenhoorn08-Jan-2010 20:45
Like the strong lines on the road
Doug Cruden08-Jan-2010 20:06
Hey! You haven't got any snow!!! I thought you guys were under feet of it??? A big bold study here Stewart, and good use of the Sigma UWA in an urban setting...only niggle would be that Top Man's LHS could be straightened up a little?? That notwithstanding, this is a terrific shot!

This one strikes me as somewhat funny. Pedestrian signs for both short and tall people! Great find!

Excellent! What are all the lines for?
Cindi Smith08-Jan-2010 01:04
So you have to stay when he is staying? Nah...go ahead and cross the street. We do it all the time in Fort Worth. But, you try it in Dallas and you'll get a ticket! Love the lines the pov and I'm ready to cross now! Great idea and great shot!
Barbara Heide07-Jan-2010 23:58
great patterns... what do these lines mean? Just in case we come over to see you far north...?
LynnH07-Jan-2010 23:57
Oh yes... this is awesome! I love the POV - crosswalk light is like icing on the cake. Great work. V

I like the comp and the processing.. For me there needs to be some distortion correction though. The far building on the left is leaning at a very off angle. The bottom left needs to be pulled left a bit...
Walter Otto Koenig07-Jan-2010 23:25
Interesting perspective and very cool distortions in this wide shot.
Guest 07-Jan-2010 22:58

Is it just me, or is the 'Top Man' shivering in the cold :o)
Stephanie07-Jan-2010 22:08

lisamidi07-Jan-2010 20:00
Wow, great opportunity for bw. So many interesting shapes and textures.
And the stop light works so well: nobody is crossing the street.
Bernard Davis07-Jan-2010 19:59
Another very graphic image of your city. More urban than historical this time, but still very powerful.
Fay Stout07-Jan-2010 19:57
