Duffus Castle, Moray

On a windy day with scudding clouds,
rather than use a fast shutter speed
to freeze the swaying blooms,
I opted for a long exposure to let the
elements have their way....

Nikon D80 ,Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8 EX DG ASP DF
10s f/32.0 at 24.0mm iso100. Polariser and 5 stop ND filters full exif

Such a pretty spot with the yellow flowers in front. What a great idea to set the shutter speed to 10 seconds. That way the yellow looks greatly washed out and makes a wonderful foreground for the green and the building. Excellent. V
