Wanda _07_22_06.jpg

Today Wanda picked up a Time Edge carbon fiber bike frame from "Contender Bicycle", one of the many businesses that sponsored the "ADA Tour de Cure" back in June. The frame was awarded to her in recognition of her phenomenal fund raising efforts. Now she just needs to select and buy the components to get her new bike on the road. I think with the new bike she has to ride the 100 mile course next year.

Jim,

Sorry to disappoint you, but Bill does very little photography in the bedroom. The furniture just aint that great of subject! As for Me, when I am in the bedroom, I am sleeping and he'd damned well better not wake Me up!(especially if he has a camera in his hand) You've heard that old saying, "let sleeping dogs lie?" (grin)

Wanda, I don't think Bill will mind you offering him up as a tour guide, from what I've read I get the feeling he enjoys that role. As for his favorite places to photograph, if your bedroom is on the list I'm on my way :-)

Bill and Wanda:

Time makes ose really good stuff, so you are lucky. When buiolding up a frame, I think at a minimum a compact crankset would be a good start and the rest is dtermined by your budget. If you need some advice on building up the frame, feel free to email me (BobV@aol.com) and I'll be happy to help out.

Nice Frame, and I mean a very nice frame. A perfect prize for a special lady. That is one of the "L" versions of bicycle frames. I guess you now need to go "PRO" with a few sponsors to build the rest of that perfect bike. You are the perfect poster girl and would be great in advertising. Much better than "Lance" whats his name!!!

Once again I have to thank all the people who sponsored Me. It was not MY effort alone that got Me to My fundraising goal, but the willingness of others to open their hearts and their wallets and make a donation to the ADA as My sponsor.

I would like to express My appreciation to all of My sponsors by offering them an open invitation to come visit Utah and be a guest in our home. Of course you'll need to bring your bike with you so you can go for a training ride with Me. (grin) I intend to continue riding so I will be in condition for next year. I plan to ride My new bike on the 100 mile route! And don't forget your camera! I am sure Bill would be happy to show you some of his favorite places to photograph.

(Just wait till he comes home from work and reads this comment and sees that I have volunteered him to be a tour guide)

May I send my congratulations too, Wanda. It is well deserved and you are an inspirational spirit to us all. Your love of life and people is evident in all you do!

And Jim, may I add she also looks extremely "youthful and beautiful"!

Your island friend.

Congrats Wanda, nice to see you getting the recognition you so deserve. And I might add you are looking particularly Hot in this shot, and I don't mean sweaty like everyone around the country lately, something about the sparkle of your eyes and your smile, it must be goodness in your soul shining through from doing such a good thing that seems to give you an angelic glow.
