Break In The Storm 02_16_06.jpg

Sorry for the small break from my little PAD project.

This morning we woke to about 18" of fresh new snow. It was the kind of snow Utah is famous for. It was light and fluffy like the finest goose down. You could scoop up a handful and with the less effort than blowing out the candles on a birthday cake you could blow it sparkling into the sun light. I'm sure the skiers are in heaven today.

The clouds were snuggling the peaks of Wanda's Mountain but the sun was trying to break through. It made for some soft and wonderful light.

Here is another picture taken of just the blue spruce

One of the best winter images I've seen! Super in B&W.

I wished for snow for my Birthday but no luck. This much snow would be so much fun and for Somerset such a rare photo opportunity!

Beautiful photo Bill. It sure beats the measly 1" that we got in Denver today.

Wow! Can you spare any of that? I'll take a few inches.
Beautiful photo. The shadows are lovely.

Someone (Wanda) blowing this powder into the sunlight would make a great PAD subject. You should try it Bill.
