Lazy B, look again, your post IS showing and it IS posted before Gary's. (smiling) Be patient, Bill will be home soon to tell you if your answers are correct. I don't have a clue cuz I don't pay attention to all of his civil war stuff. . . but I have a feeling you are correct.

First Official Flag of the Confederate States of America
Guest 03-Aug-2005 01:42
Does this happen to be the First National Confederate Flag?

Great Picture!
Wm. Bates02-Aug-2005 03:02
Nope.
Gary Ingram02-Aug-2005 02:55
"Georgia Flag"
Wm. Bates02-Aug-2005 02:31
Good observations, Gary. The stars are in a circle and the strips are pretty wide.
Gary Ingram02-Aug-2005 02:22
It looks like the stars in a circle, which would be the Betsy Ross flag with 13 stars. The stripes look to wide though.
Wm. Bates02-Aug-2005 01:13
James and others. I know not much of this flag is showing; but, can anyone name the flag???
James Lundy02-Aug-2005 01:03
Forget the guns I love that flag. It is so hard to find real all fabric flags anymore. All I can ever find are those synthetic or plastic types. Nice image. Bill you should be doing product work for their website and sales flyers/subscriptions instead of selling guns for them, or heck do both.
Chris Brooker01-Aug-2005 22:44
Bill......do you use the nutcrackers before or after you shot them!!!
Jim McKinlock01-Aug-2005 16:42
Beautiful shot Bill, Just curious if you've talked to your boss about doing any photo work for them? The gun shots on their website are pretty plain looking, also I think it would be nice if you could hang some of your nature, wildlife pics in their store somewhere.

very wonderful image Bill
Robin Reid01-Aug-2005 13:55
Powerful image.

John, many will think that was just a funny reference to my name; but, I'm guessing you know that Wild Bill really did prefer and use Colt 1851 Navies.
John Lester01-Aug-2005 12:37
Wild Bill's guns!
Wm. Bates01-Aug-2005 12:20
Nothing more than the rolled/stamped naval battle scene engraved on the cylinder.
Unexplained Bacon01-Aug-2005 05:16
nice... are they engraved?
