Serendipity 07_27_05.jpg

This was just a quick shot between setups while working on todays PAD photo. There is something about this image that just works for me. It was just something almost accidental.

Here is the shot that really was meant to be the PAD photo for today.

Canon EOS 20D ,Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L USM
1/160s f/5.0 at 51.0mm iso200 with Flash full exif

other sizes: small medium original auto

I prefer this one for the colour, the serenity, and the overall mood. Sometimes quick shots work out better than expected. Well done.

Everything, everything works in this picture! This is amazingly good from lots of technical reasons: the colors, the depth of field, the angle of the roof, etc. But it also has a mythic, undefinable feeling to it. Definitely a wall-hanger. Enlarge this one and hang it up. Use it as the opening of a show. Voted. Ellsworth

Excellent shot! Great symmetry. Love the dominant color. It is interesting to note the symbol of the chalice or the original symbol for a woman resembling the cup or the vessel in the reflection over Wanda's head. Also known as the ancient symbol for "womanhood"!

Jeanne,

My adorable Orrin G follows Me where ever I go, although he draws the line at the edge of the pool. While I am swimming he will lay right at the edge and dip his paws in the pool, but he wont go swimming with Me. The swimming he leaves to our dog Pepper. (grin)

Very cool, and yes, surreal. I also think this shot really works for me. The other has great light, but this is an image that sticks with you. Quite an image, Bill.

Beautiful image William. The subjects, colours, perspective and DOF work really well together. Voted.

This accidental shot is so much better. That triangle poitne to your wife could not be any more perfect. The orange cat sniffing her hand is surreal beyond description.
Voted.

I'm glad you choose the one with the cat. The colors are great. The light of the other one is better but I prefer this performance.
