Wanda 07_06_05.jpg

Wanda has a thing for camo pants. She found some pink camos last week on a clearance rack at the mall. I just thought the roses and the pink camos would make a fun picture.

Very well envisioned, and perfectly executed.

Jim, let me give you the background of how this photo came about. Wanda was working in the front yard and it was getting late. I said I need to hurry up and figure out a PAD photo. She was wearing the camo pants. I noticed our neighbors roses on the corner and jokingly said i should take a photo of her and the pants in the roses. The more I thought about it the more I wanted to do the photo.

Wanda gave in. She went in the house and let her hair down, touched up her makeup and changed shirts. The green shirt was her idea...and it worked.

Now the back light was planned. The pose was planned and I did notice the flow of the flowers and the belt line. I moved the camera to get them to match.

So yes lots of what you see was what I planned and how I setup the photo. But the shirt was all Wanda.

Bill, My first thought when looking at this photo was the same as other's have posted, cute pants, matches the background , beautiful model, etc. but I couldn't quite figure out how Wanda would match up a dark green top with pink pants except it matches the background so perfectly. Did you guys plan it like this? The curve of her hips matches the pink flower's perfectly, the top blends nicely with the trees, and you even managed to get her hair nicely backlighted. How much of this shot is planned? and how much is just the luck of having a gorgeous model and a beautiful location? It's easy to sit here and say, if I had a model that looked that good I could get shots like this all day long, but in reality I doubt that's the case. It's always so nice to see you guy's doing something differant all the time.

The SAS paint jeeps used in the desert pale pink so it must work.
Hard to miss Wanda whatever the colour.
