Wow.....
Perfect example of Erotic Art, uh, Artistic Eroticism, or.... heck, it's just plain perfect ART that sets you thinking.... what's beyond the boundary of the picture.... 8-)
This picture deserves to be put up in an art museum.

Producing this image was nothing but a sticky mess! Between the warmth of My body and the pull of gravity, the honey just wouldn't stay where we wanted it to! We had to try again and again an again before we got an image Bill was pleased with. It was during this session that I wished I had a third hand. Obviously I am cupping Myself and forcing those lucious mounds of flesh together to create the valley for the honey to drip through. Since both My hands were occupied, Bill had to drip the honey AND click the shutter. It's times like these that an assitant would be nice, but then I would be embarrassed due to My exposed nature. (giggling at My "lucioius mounds" comment.. it sounded better than "boobs") (grin)

I'm pretty sure what happened after you took the shot!
:-)
Guest 10-Jul-2004 16:29
So, William, THIS is what tops that Honey-Do list of yours! It is an awesome shot . . . thanks for sharing.
Guest 05-Jul-2004 17:21
lost in translation, this is beautifull!
Guest 11-Jun-2004 22:37
Bill,

You do some great work and your wife is such a great sport and a great model, as are Liz and Brandy. I had made a comment that Wanda responded to about knowing if you were taking the pics of Liz. I thought it would make a very striking image to do some shots of Liz and Wanda together with their great and contrasting eyes and figures! Keep up the great work and let Wanda know that she is truly a very photogenic spouse!

Oh, my.....

Uh, nice lighting!
Pedro Libório11-Jun-2004 22:02
quite interesting combination here!!
regards.

Thanks for all the information William. The details behind the Liz photo really make a story out of the picture. I must say you really seem drawn to models with expressive eyes. My thanks to both ladies.

Richard,

full exif or exif data is a small file embedded in the photo file that has all the camera settings, date and time and other things. If you click on the little thing it will open a box that will show all that stuff.

USM can have two different meanings. For Canon camera users USM stands for Ultra Sonic Motor and refers to how some lenses focus. If it is a Sigma lens the call it HSM for Hypersonic Motor.

Also, USM if what lots here and elsewhere to refer to Unsharpen Mask in Photoshop. It is old film developing term that refereed to a way of sharpening photos. In Photoshop it is a sharpening tool that increase the contrast along edges which makes things appear sharper. You'll have to figure out by the context which way USM is being used.

Todays light was just a bare 60 watt incandescent build in a little cheap reflector and that is where the light in the honey came from. As to skin detail that came from a using a very good camera the Canon 10D with a fantastic very sharp expensive lens the Canon 24-70f/2.8 L mounted on a tripod and clicked with a shutter release. Biggest hint here is the tripod. If you use a tripod things will look sharper.

I have one word to describe today's PAD - AWESOME!
Richard 11-Jun-2004 17:34
Wanda & Bill,
Again, my compliments and thanks for sharing your work.
I hope you don't mind my taking advantage of your expertise, but I'm a rank beginner at serious photography, and some of the technical terms, particularly with respect to digital work, escape me. I am guessing that the terms "USM" and "full exif" refer to lighting? In rookie terms, what did you use for lighting on today's shot? I'm taken by the reflections of light off the honey, and at the same time by the clarity of flesh details.

Some days ago, I posted a question about posing on your glamour gallery picture Liz1 - jpg. I hope you can address it when you have a moment.

Best,
Richard

And of course we are all awaiting the filmed documentary of this session... :-)

This was supposed to be a "quick we need an image for the PAD gallery" because it was about 10:00 PM before I got home from working with clients. It was a simple concept that didn't turn out to be that quick or simple. It took 46 clicks of the shutter to get about 4 that we thought were good enough to use. The first 10 or 12 exposures were just to get the light and camera angle how we wanted it look.

After every two or three clicks Wanda would need to wash the honey off. At the shooting distance the depth of field was about a 1/2 inch. As she breathed or moved a little the honey sometimes moved in and out of focus. Sometimes the drips didn't go where we wanted or just puddled up into blobs. Wanda was using her hands to play Miracle Bra and sometimes she got funny looking creases in her cleavage from pushing slightly to hard. So some images got deleted for being slightly out of focus, some had bad shadows, creases and drips in the wrong spots. So, what I figured could be done in 5 minutes turned into a hour plus project.

how many times did you have to do that before you got it just so ? - of course you guys had to have a practice ? right ??
