Sometimes we have a hard time measure success or we don't see our success. This morning Wanda and I went turkey hunting. We managed to get a couple toms talking but couldn't get them to come into my call. I could be saying that the hunt was a bust.

We got skunked; but it was still a successful day. It was a perfect Spring morning on the mountain; blue skies and fluffy clouds. The birds were singing. We had a great hike, enjoyed each others company and found a few pounds of wild Black Morel mushrooms along the way.

Turkey or not, it was another great day and that is what success is all about.
