LeFever SxS 1 03_03_10.jpg

It has been awhile since I shared a work photo. Today I had the pleasure of photographing a 107 year old LeFever Arms Special Order side by side shotgun. The engraving is enchanting. On this side we have an English Setter on point with a woodcock falling from a shot. If you look there are even small feathers floating down. The other side has a delicate woodcock scene. The barrels show a fine Damascus twist pattern.

Plain and simple if it was in the budget I would love to own this gun but that isn't to be. Tomorrow it hits the web at a very good price and it will be gone. At least I had the pleasure of photographing this beautiful old shotgun.

John!

Don't encourage Bill to buy another @#%$&*! gun! . . . that's the other habit of his that really ruffles my shorts. . .. . . oops, I better shut up or I'll ruin my image of being the perfect wife.

Great Shot & Detail V!!

Not to mention that you are probably still under the smoke cloud of the last cigar bomb which would make bringing this gun home even more of a problem.
Nice shot! I refuse to say capture. It's a great photograph!!!

Wonderful image as always Bill. What's the link to the site where this beauty will be offered?
