Pot gut 07_19_09.jpg

"potgut" is a nickname here in Utah for the Uintah Ground Squirrel. This slang term is usually only recognized and used by Utah natives (possibly a popular term in Idaho and Wyoming too).

Great shot, I have a bunch of grey ones I feed every morning. They also have pot guts but from eating peanuts.
