The resort is Akumal Beach Resort. This was the view at dawn from our second floor room.
Okay, the places is a bit budget. The rooms are pretty basic but clean. Water pressure problems make taking a shower interesting at times. The food is nothing special. Oh and the power goes out often. The bar is nice but you had better like cheap booze. I'm sure some would hate the place.
What Akumal does have is great atmosphere. If you just want to relax, play on a world class beach, snorkle on a good reef then it is a great place. The staff keeps things fun. I would go back in an instant.
