Peteetneet Creek 12_30_08

A photo from our favorite model and guest photographer, Wanda.

Yesterday she grabbed her new camera and the instruction manual and went for a walk. The goal was to learn what all the buttons and dials do on her new toy.

This is a little creek a couple blocks from home.

Happy New Year Mr. & Mrs. B! I've admired and enjoyed your work for sometime.
Wanda, it looks like you shine on either side of the camera, enjoy your new gift. Look forward to more from you both in the future.

Wanda if you took this picture then you did an outstanding job. Kinda makes one feel as if they were standing in your shoes at the moment this picture was taken.

P.S. Not that I would want your shoes, but what a Wanda-ful thought...lolol:)))

Wanda:

I still love you in front of the camera even more than when you're behind it, however, your walking around trying out the buttons on your new camera comes out way better than my planning a shot and taking it.

To me, the whole point of photography is to "have fun and go out and try". I am always learing and my pictures keep improving. That is what makes it fun for me.

I have enjoyed both of your pictures over the years.

Happy new year!

Nicely composed, and great light. Well done.

jjbjr,

I'd be honored if you used it as your wallpaper. But I am sure if Bill had taken this shot, it would have turned out much better. I still don't know what I am doing with My new camera, but it's fun to go out and try. I just point the camera at whatever I think looks pretty. Of course, it's always prettier in the flesh. Maybe one day I'll be able to do it justice through a lens.
