These are scenes from the 19th annual Mid-Atlantic States Homebrewers' campOUT held each mid-August in western Maryland in a mountain-top meadow owned by Chuck and Helen Popenoe, members of the Washington, DC-based homebrew club Brewers United for Real Potables (BURP).

About 200 homebrewers from several clubs in the Mid-Atlantic region gather here for three days of great camaraderie, great food, and great beer.
