These photos show my small rig configured as follows: a BeachTek, 2 Zenn Wireless Audio Receivers, the larger and heavier Canon Extended Battery-Pack, and the Accy. Adapter Bracket. The recommended payload of the Steadicam using the new metal gimbal along with their Arm and Vest is a maximum of 7.5 lbs and the way I now have the system configured, it weights no less than 11 lbs. (and it flyes perfect!) After a 30-minute trial run, I didn't experience any problems. I do plan to carry with me two "dove-plates" already set up for two different system configurations.

Here is a sample video on YouTube of what a Steadicam does for your handheld videos http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BlblLOLj8IQ and of course, knowing how to use the equipment helps too! : )
