...This is a photo sequence of the modifications made to the nose end of a 73' 911 chassis in order to allow the proper installation of a front oil-cooler 'a la RSR'. It was not intended to be an exact 100% reproduction of the factory install, however, it is extremely well done, better than most of the front oil-cooler mods I've had a chance to see in the past. Since there is NO internet source that I'm aware of illustrating the necessary detailed work, we decided to make these photos available for the rest of us. Maybe we can all learn a thing or two about what can be achieved in custom fabrication with limited tools.
