Contribute! This photo gallery will document vintage and current photos of 911 RSR race cars at various events and locations. If you have any period photos you'll be willing to share with the rest of us, please email them to ajserrano@msn.com. By the way, I have already received a lot of period photos from several great sources, particularly from Germany. Thank you guys! Again, I want to express my gratitude for the many collective contributions from all of you, the 911 RSR fans! Please keep them coming! Let's keep those memories alive! ; )

Hello ! I am searching some infos on carrera RS 3.0 N°78 le Mans 1975, car driven by Wollek and Grandet. it was a black and green car, what was his chassis number ??..and his owner ?? thank 's very much. best regards.

Russel Edmonds sold the car to me back in 2001. Also the Marathon is in fact an 84 hour race (not 48). Hello Mr. Horsell and thank you for your post and clarification of the Marathon race. I was not personally present when Carroll Shelby made the statement (making the dangerous assumption that it is true) but I can only guess that at the time, he didn't know there was in fact a longer event. Also, one could only imagine if Carrol Shelby made that comment when referencing a 48-hour race, what would his remarks be if he only knew about the 84-hour event? ...and Porsche winning it! As they say, "There is no substitute" ; ) Armando PS: I too would love to see photos of your 911R, I believe you know my email...
