...For all 911/912 cars, these headlights are fitted as original equipment by the Porsche Factory to new Porsches sold in Europe. They are of exceptional quality in terms of providing much better (about 200%) visibility than the U.S. sealed beam unit. The low beam pattern is designed to give less glare to the on-coming driver while providing excellent illumination. The high beam has a vastly greater penetration and distance illumination than a sealed beam headlight. The light source for these headlights is a standard Quartz-Halogen bulb, and the precision design of reflector and lens provides for the very accurate projection of the light onto the road.
