One of only 59 made (depending on who you ask) This RS 3.0 chassis #911.460.9029 recently had over 60k spent on the body/paint and engine. It still has all the hard to find parts like 917 style brakes, twin masters, loop trans. cooler, adjustable sway bars, short rear arms, etc. These cars are very hard to find in original trim and this is one of those cars. I am French, and l would like to reintrocuce this car in France to run at "Le Mans Classic" ... could you help me ?

Here are some more of 9029....sorry if there are doubles. I forgot where I left off.

I should also say that when I did the engines for these cars....the owners planed on racing them. They did not want show cars. Once again I kept a lot of the patina of the engine components in tact...so to speak.......I can do concours work but these guys like to drive 'em. (I think it's cool.)

Here are more photos of the RS 3.0 ......but I don't have any more of the IROC.... Sorry. I should say that we didn't restore both of these cars. I only did the engine and transmission in the RS 3.0. Jeff Syme, a good friend of mine, in Madison Wisconsin did the body. We now do complete restorations and body work. I'm in the process of purchasing a Celette bench for serious repair of Porsche bodies.

The IROC had a G-50 transmission in it, so we converted it back to a 915 and changed the suspension to the Titanium springs. Then I rebuilt the engine. I also built another 3.0L high butterfly engine to be used when raced.

BTW: I don't know if you're adding a section for '73 RSs but we are doing a complete restoration on a 911 360 1166.......a Touring.
