Sony 5-305UW TV

This gallery is dedicated to a Sony 5" Black & White TV that I owned for about 25 years and finally worked on to get it working better prior to selling it on Ebay. The TV was built in 1965 by Sony and measured 8 3/8" x 6.5" x 3 1/8 ". It was "portable" if you bought the 12V battery pack for it, and it could be plugged into a cigarette lighter. It was one of several TV's on the cover of the February 1965 Popular Science. It had a travel case and a bunch of accessories- everything but the 12 battery pack.
