Baby Cooper Hawk Close Up

Tucson, AZ

So here is a close up of the Baby Cooper Hawk after it dried off a bit. One of the Hawks fell out of the tree (or was pushed), and so there were two on the ground now. One died a few days later- not sure why or which one. There was another one up in the tree, but we have not seen the third baby hawk in over a week. Am hoping this one starts to fly away so we don't have to strain our necks and carry a broom so much while outside. This one is best viewed in "original"

Fantastic close up. Wonderful details. Sorry about the loss of one of the babies. Hopefully they will fly away soon. V

Super closeup of the baby hawk. I guess the fluff keeps it warm while it matures.V
