Wong Tai Sin Temple is the most popular Taoism temple in Hong Kong. You will find that some of the photos, especially those taken inside the Main Hall, are so smoky. Prayers carry many incense inside and fill the hall with smoke and ash. It indicates the popularity of the temple among Hong Kong people.
Besides the worship hall, the other places are easily overlooked. There is a garden called Congxin Yuen (從心園). Though the architecture is plain enough, it is a good place to have a break after walking through the overcrowded main hall. Also the Wall of Jiulong (九龍壁, means 9 dragons), located west to the main hall, is interesting to visit. This is spring time, come in to enjoy the blossom of flowers. Enjoy!
