Despite experiencing one of the wettest Christmas vacations ever, Bill & I took in the sights in Portland, the Columbia Gorge, Bend, Florence & Eugene. Trip highlights included the Edgefield Inn, numerous Portland microbreweries (Lucky Lab, Roots, Bridgeport, Laurelwood, Main Street, to name a few), the Bonneville fish hatchery (rainbow trout & Herman the 65-yr old sturgeon), Columbia gorge waterfalls, Old St Francis School (in Bend), Smith Rock State Park (in Terrabonne), Shore Acres State Park, Sweet Creek Falls (in Mapleton), King Estate Winery (in Eugene) and a snowy Silver Falls State Park. Thank goodness for gortex and weather-sealed cameras! Given the opportunity, we'd do it all over again in a heartbeat...enjoy. (p.s. If you like these pictures, be sure to check out my Shore Acres Christmas lights and High Desert Museum galleries too.)
