I loved playing this game in the South Bronx in the 80's.

Hey, I used to play this when I was a boy in New York in 1969. Then moved to Utah and never played it again. It was a street game and the tops we used to use were the caps from the bottom of school chairs. :)
Eddie, thanks for leaving a message. Skelzies was called Skelly when I was young and basically you have to go from number 1 to number 12 then into the center where each box represented one letter in the word KILLER. Once you became a killer you could kill the other players by hitting their tops first. You might find the rules somewhere on the web. Thee are a lot of entries in Google so it could be a little reseach paper for you. If you find it, please leave a message with the URL. Good luck.

All I did was play Skelzies all day when I was young. Now I want to make one in my backyard, if you could get the original dimensions and rules. It would be greatly appreciated.

This was on the sidewalk of a Department of Defense School at Camp Darby, Italy. It is not an Italian sidewalk game.
