Millie, if you are attempting to get that old album back forget it. That album probably has over forty years of scratches. I have a CD (purchased in 2001)entitled LAMBERT, HENDRICKS, & ROSS. This album contains three classic LP's on two CD's. The LP's contained are:
- THE HOTTEST NEW ROUP IN JAZZ (this album contains Moanin', Cloudburst, Gimme That Wine, among other goodies).
- LAMBERT, HENDRICKS & ROSS SING ELLINGTON
- HIGH FLYING WITH THE IKE ISAACS TRIO.
There are thirty-eight great, digitally remastered cuts in this package that includes rare photos, and new linear notes (Columbia/Legacy #C2K 64933). When I take long trips in the car, you better believe LH&R got me grovin' down the road. -Ivan -
