You can drive up here if you want, via a steep, narrow, winding road. I did, years ago. So this time, I decided to hike. Unfortunately I took a wrong turn somewhere and ended up taking the less scenic route which ended up at the vehicle access road - and still 1.7 km from the top! I ended up having to trudge up that road after all, and on foot, no less. Fortunately, I did find the trail that I SHOULD have taken, and took it on the way back down.
