Sachs Bridge (Sauch's Bridge)

Gettysburg, PA

On July 3rd and 4th, 1863 , the bridge was used by a portion of the Confederate army, in retreat out of Gettysburg, but is said to have been used by both armies during the time of the Gettysburg conflict.

The bridge is known to have been the site of a triple hanging (allegedly Confederate soldier's who had deserted) at one end, and is in close proximity to a crude post battle field hospital, and mass Confederate grave.
