New Pet - April 15, 2005

My friend John hates cats. He said he'd rather have another pet. Anything but cats, said he. Be
careful what you wish for, said I. :) This is not quite as sharp as I'd like, but it was taken
through the kitchen window for a shot of John's new and somewhat shy pet.

Cute foto!! I am looking at cat photos, and ran across your 'possum.last year, we had a 'possum wandering around our house and i caught him sleeping with my cats in their cat bed outside.he hung out for a few weeks and just left. i never saw him when it was light enough to get a good shot of him. Great capture. I've only seen one (alive anyway) once in my life, as it was scurrying away. Cute little buggers!

Ok, maybe the tail of a possum is not the cutest thing, but I think the rest of a possum is adorable, including this one. Good photo. (We have them around our home - usually late at night - in Los Angeles.)
