I decided to start a new gallery for the various pictures I am taking of fire. There is certainly a beauty to it.
Since my friends like to play with fire so much, here's a gallery for what I see.

Playing with fire is always dangerous. Under no circumstances should a child play with fire; adults can be bad enough. Catastrophic loss of property, severe burns and death may result from poor judgement and accidents. Playing with fire is a very serious matter and in the wrong hands can prove to be deadly serious. Some people will not listen to reason, and it's good for someone with a level head and proper extinguishing equipment on hand (and the knowledge and experience to use it properly) to be there and prepared for the worst.

I've been through God-only-knows how many fire training lectures/demonstrations throughout my 20-year career in the Marine Corps/Navy and have hands-on experience putting out every class of fire in a CONTROLLED situation. It's important to take precautionary measures and I felt reasonably comfortable knowing that while the fires in this gallery burned, in each case there was a fire extinguisher and/or charged hose within easy reach should anything get out of hand.

One last note: Under NO circumstances should anyone attempt to use fire while under the influence of any mind-altering substances - alcohol or drugs.

I suppose my best advice on this matter would be simply: Do NOT try this at home.
