Paleteada and Aparte.. two Argentine horses' sports

I love horses! Last September, I visited an hacienda, 300 km far from Buenos Aires.
I was lucky to may see and capture how they were training for two sports, Paleteada and Aparte

There, they breed " caballo criollo pura sangre" , or Creole horse pure sang.

Here two phrases said by the hacienda's owner, more eloquent that anything I could add…
"Man and horse’s souls understand each other perfectly, and they commune in incredible, inexplicable feelings."
"This is our land.. The unpredictable countryside that makes us always look at the sky and its soil that blends man and horse’s sweat.."

Didn't see that was knife...this looks inhumane, hate to know what happens to the poor cattle...here they cut out a cattle from the herd to separate them.

Silvia, this is a superb gallery , not an easy one when such fast pase movement is taking place. The gallery is full of intensity, and you images show the horses with there graceful form. I must also say the riders understand there horses , for the event pictured is team work . Your camera work is superb,and I do believe you must have cleaned you lens frequently. I love the introduction image to your gallery as well. Vote 10++
