By 1938, the whole world was again at war, though the main event had not taken the stage. There were four major theaters of conflict in progress: The Spanish Civil War, the Sino-Japanese War ( II ), the Manchurian border fighting between Japan and Soviet Russia and the 2nd Italo-Abyssinian War. The card set's cards jump around from one conflict to another.
