This lighthouse point was probably my favorite photographing point (at least one of them) in the section of Maine I visited on vacation in September 2005. This shot almost silhouettes the lighthouse against a rising sun. Note how the sun's early rays cause the US Flag to "glow" in the early morning sky. Singing the US national anthem here seems appropriate.
