This is the oldest pottery in Finland. "This building was moved 1890 to this place (Tynkä, Kalajoki) from nearby village Typpö by Johan Stenbäk (1840-1909)" says the granddoughter Aune Kivioja. I had the honour to meet Aune during a sunny day in june 2004. Behind this window three generations have turned clay into everyday household cups and pots. I hope this picture and a little picture gallery can tribute a little to the generations of craftmanship.
