On New Year's Eve this year I decided to skip partying until after midnight and in stead go to a higher level above Mosfellsbćr where I live and take some photos of Reykjavík and surroundings during the fireworks that Icelanders use to celebrate the comming of a new year and saying goodby to the old year. These are just a few glimpses of the fireworks but try and imagin this going on for about 50 - 60 minutes around midnight, because thats how it is.
Unfortunatly the sound is missing but it´s like being near the front of a war-zone wihtout any small fire just bombardment.
