It was last evening while watering a few pots that suddenly I saw a flurry of wings almost within arms' reach and there, immediately in front of me, was a hummer.
Of course, I did not have my camera in hand. When I finished watering, I decided to move the hummer feeder back to the main garden where I could see it from the comfort of the porch.
I made more hummer nectar, and this morning filled the feeder.
I had no sooner done this and sat down on the porch when a hummer zoomed in. So... was he watching me? Who knows!

He was not interested in the feeder but rather, the Radio Red Sage.
Unfortunately, I only got a couple shots and then he was gone. This is a major crop of the original photo.
Regardless... that little hummer made my day!
