"D" Day... Demolition Day

February 15, 2016... exactly 28 years, to the day, when we moved into our new home here in Texas. Little did we know back then that we would be faced with this, as our house is demolished post-tornado damage.

It's hard to know if you are in focus when shooting with tears in your eyes but I knew I had to document this part of my life so I can move on. No one said life would be easy. At least we and our dogs survived.

Fay I came across a picture in my gallery you posted years ago and you seemed so nice. I thought I'd look you up and this devastation of your home was the first I saw.Now l months later, i hope you are in a comfortable place and life is getting better.

Not a sight any of us would wish to see for our homes. You are taking this well and carrying on, but I can imagine how devastating it is. I hope that the rest of 2016 will be far better for you.

This must have been a devastating day to witness the tear-down of your home of 28 years. You are a very strong woman and I'm sure you will move on to bigger and better things! Keep your chin up my friend!

Oh my God, what a nightmare... I have just learned what happened to your house... I am so sorry, dear Fay. But, on the other hand, you all survived and this is the most important thing... My best wishes and I will stay in touch with you.

That is so sad to see! I´m so sorry for your loss! Great that you all survived. At least you have the opportunity to rebuild hopefully, to make it even better! All my best wishes to you and yours!
