This dandelion is different than the regular dandelion and is sometimes called "false dandelion".
It grows six to twenty inches tall and blooms in the mornings from March through May.
This flower is part of the sunflower family.

And oddly enough it was growing out of the water and in bloom. Definitely a tough plant!
That is how fast the lake levels have risen with all of our recent rain.
And not only that, it was covered with tiny fireants.
