OK... I am cheating on this one!
This photo was taken from the archives and was actually taken by my grandson Lucas but my story would not be complete without this shot.
You see, I have this gorilla suit and I got it to do Gorilla Grams.
I first wore this on Halloween when the grandchildren were quite young and I'm afraid I scared them to death and thought I had scarred them for life.
Alaina was a wee bit of a thing and she bawled and bawled and clutched onto her daddy even after I took the mask off.
Lucas ran from the door and hid under the dining room table and he was bawling too.
Once I took the mask off, he eventually came to see the humor in it all and now thinks the whole thing is hysterical!
I've always had a secret desire to dress up as something and act goofy and now I have an excuse!
I will show up with balloons and a bunch of bananas to celebrate birthdays.
Now, my grandson wants me to find him a gorilla suit so we can do it together!
(Yikes! I think I have created a monster!)
Following one of my gigs to surprise my husband on his birthday at work, my grandson got a shot of me in the fig tree and we were both laughing so hard, it is a wonder this shot turned out so sharp!
