I recently received an unexpected e-mail from Glenn, a fella in the Heard Nature Photo Club, but little did I know the seriousness of the message, and this is what he had to say:
"When I arrived at the workshops, I happened to be standing in front of the gazing eyes of Lucy and I did not realize she was not real.
She kept gazing at me with her mouth agape and I really thought she had a thing for me."
OMG! I had no idea this was going on right before my eyes.
Lucy was sitting next to me as I was talking with club members about putting photo books together and then I find out that she has this thing for Glenn!
I know Lucy has been lonely and wishing she had a man to keep her company, but who knew that she would have such an attraction to a real live man!
So I thought perhaps I should talk to her about life... you know... "that talk"!
She does not generally have much to say but when she becomes emotional, that's when I can hear her very quietly utter a few words, and so it was as we sat down for this conversation.
All she kept saying was that she was "OVER THE MOON" as a result of Glenn's attention!
I'm not sure if it is love or just infatuation but I will surely have to keep an eye on her now!
Glenn went on to say... "It has been a funny story telling people how a dummy was awe struck over me, but I regret not getting her photo."
He ended by saying... " Would you mind sending me a picture of Lucy so I can show off my new girlfriend."
So of course I sent him a photo and posted this most unusual story of Lucy and the photog.
The Rest of the Story
Life is strange sometimes how things fall into place.
This photo was sent to me by Mike... husband of one of the "crazy women" (my good friend, Lorraine) from the Crazy Women's Photography Club.
The moon photo was Lorraine's first attempt at shooting the moon and it was gorgeous!
Well, Mike being the photo buff that he is decided to perch my photo of Lucy onto the moon and send it to me. What a surprise!
And then on it's heels, I get an e-mail from a fella in our nature photo club about Lucy and suddenly the story was playing out in my mind... or what mind I have left!
Thank you Mike, Lorraine and Glenn from Lucy and I! What a fun world we live in!
