Tuesday on Sunday

It was a gorgeous spring-like day in the middle of January in Texas, and much too nice to stay indoors, so I said to Lucy... "Lucy... let's go to the lake!"
Being the agreeable person that she is, she was all for the idea, so off we go in the "lalamobile".

The lake was full of activity... bikers, fishermen, boaters, walkers, runners, and lots of people walking their dogs.
Lucy loved being out in the warm sun and settled down at the base of a tree next to the lake.
She is a people-watcher you know, so she was getting so much enjoyment out of just being there in the moment.

And then, here comes Nathan! Actually, Nathan had parked next to us and was a bit surprised to see Lucy.
We said hello and off he went with his dog for a bit of a walk.
After a while he returned and we chatted and I admired his beautiful dog named Tuesday.
He adopted Tuesday just a couple months ago and what a beautiful dog, and so very gentle.

Lucy loves animals and I think she wanted to have a photo to remember Tuesday.
Nathan got her to sit next to Lucy and I could feel that a special friendship was in the making. Tuesday looked at Lucy with such loving eyes as I snapped the photo.

Tuesday... you are a very special dog and thank-you Nathan for rescuing Tuesday.
If only more people would do the same. Hope to see you again at the lake sometime!
Hugs and kisses to Tuesday!

It sounds as if Tuesday and Nathan are a match made in heaven.
I'm sure Lucy will have her day too, someday.
