Lucy has never celebrated New Year's before but she is definitely in the party mood!
Actually she has never before had an alcoholic drink, so another first for Lucy, and quite frankly, I'm not sure if that is good or bad.

I poured her a bit of bubbly and at first she was not quite sure. But as she sipped her drink, she seemed to be enjoying it.
Said something about feeling warm all over and wanted me to pour a bit more in her glass.

And then she seemed to be more relaxed than I had ever seen her and a bit giggly!

We sat quietly together thinking about all the fun times we have had together so far this year.
So many new friends! So many new experiences! Who knew two best friends could have so much fun?

I asked Lucy if there was anything I might do in the new year to bring her happiness and she again mentioned to me that she is still lonely for the companionship of a man.
OMG! This was not what I wanted to hear!

With that, she wanted a little more of the bubbly!

Lucy and I look forward to our adventures in 2013 and want to wish all our friends a safe, happy and healthy new year!

Oh no... Lucy is giggling again and getting a bit giddy. Maybe this was not such a good idea.
Just hope she doesn't get into mischief!

I think I had best keep an eye on her!
